  I'm excited to announce my appearance on the LTUX podcast! The Seattle chapter of this organization has been a source of friendship and inspiration since I joined in late 2023, and when they reached out for a guest spot, I was happy to accept. Listen here.
• CS 320 Guest Lecturer (ACU)
  (Feb '23)
  I had the distinct honor to speak, as possibly the first out trans person, with students at my alma mater as a professional who was once in their literal seats. I mentored them on creating and implementing design systems for Dr. James Prather's class.
• SI 110 Guest Lecturer (MICH)
  (Oct '22)
  I had the absolute pleasure of speaking to undergraduates at the University of Michigan about how UX/HCI principles could be applied in industry. This class, led by Dr. Cliff Lampe, is their first introduction to such principles.
• Mentor, Summer Internship at iHeartMedia
  (June - Aug '22)
  I guided Quinn Skeen (they/them) in their project work and professional goals. I value sustaining mentor/mentee relationships even after the project has ended, and Quinn and I continue to meet monthly.
• Member, Whatcom Young Professionals

  WYPs is a community for under-40 professionals in Whatcom County, WA. I was an active member who made connections with a diverse set of individuals in my community with whom I have continued to do business.
• Mentee, Queer in SIGCHI
  (Sept '21 - present)
  Paired with Caitie Lustig, one of the chairs of the SIG and program coordinators, I received excellent mentorship and guidance at their hands in this first big push in my career.
• Vice Chair, ACU ACM SIGCHI
  (Aug '17 - May '18)
  Led group of researchers to publish "Print ('Good Luck'): Measuring the Effect of Autogenerated Social Encouragement on Student Anxiety." We were one of a select few undergraduate cohorts to be accepted in the ACM student research competition at CHI 2018 (Montreal).
